Item #6405
C. F. Martin MC-28 Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1981), made in Nazareth, PA, natural finish, Indian rosewood back and sides, Sitka spruce top; mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard, original molded black plastic hard shell case.
Overall length is 40 3/4 in. (103.5 cm.), 16 in. (40.6 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 1/8 in. (10.5 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 25 3/8 in. (645 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.). This guitar is an excellent player and was recently refurbished at Martin with a neckset, new bridge and nut. There is an overspray to the top done at the time, and small marks are visible around the bridge under that from where the original was removed. As well, and a strap button added at the heel. A nice player's example of a fairly deluxe "modern" Martin. Overall Excellent Condition.
