Item #2891
C. F. Martin D-41 Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1970), made in Nazareth, PA, natural lacquer finish, Engleman spruce top, rosewood back & sides, mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard, original black tolex hard shell case.
A beautiful Martin from the dawn of the 1970's, when the pearl-topped instruments had just recently been re-introduced. The D-41 is essentially a less ornate Style 45, without the pearl on the back and sides.
This guitar is all original with only minor wear; a great-sounding and playing Dreadnought.
Overall length is 41 in. (104.1 cm.), 15 3/4 in. (40 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 7/8 in. (12.4 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 25 1/2 in. (648 mm.).
Repaired seam separation on top. Generally Excellent Condition.
