Item #5314
C. F. Martin D-35-12 Model 12 String Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1975), made in Nazareth, PA, natural finish, rosewood back and sides, spruce top, mahogany neck, original molded blue plastic hard shell case.
Overall length is 41 1/4 in. (104.8 cm.), 15 5/8 in. (39.7 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 5 in. (12.7 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 15/16 in. (49 mm.). Extremely clean overall; pickguard is an exact replacement (the originals are often badly shrunken and curled by now) and there is one small repaired grain pull on the outer edge as a result. The tuners are black chrome European open-gear strips with pearloid buttons; these are unusual on a Martin but we see no evidence of any prior installation! Very nice action, a good playing 35+ year old Martin 12 that has not seen much use Overall Excellent + Condition.
