Item #6561
C. F. Martin D-28 Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1973), made in Nazareth, PA, serial # 327815, natural finish, rosewood back and sides, spruce top; mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard, original molded black plastic hard shell case.
Overall length is 40 3/4 in. (103.5 cm.), 15 3/4 in. (40 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 15/16 in. (12.5 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 25 1/2 in. (648 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.). Very clean overall with some repair to the back. There are several long grain cracks in the back are cleanly repaired and polished out, not as clean as we would love but totally solid. There is the hint of the beginnings of the typical pickguard crack to the top, otherwise this guitar shows no other repair and very little wear. A good sounding and playing early '70's D-28 ready to gig. Excellent - Condition.
