Item #7385

C. F. Martin D-18 Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1977), made in Nazareth, PA, serial # 389345, natural lacquer finish, mahogany body and neck, spruce top, rosewood fingerboard, original molded black plastic hard shell case.

Overall length is 41 in. (104.1 cm.), 15 3/4 in. (40 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 7/8 in. (12.4 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 25 1/2 in. (648 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.). This is a nice original guitar that has survived almost 40 years without a lot of play wear. There is one spot of pick scraping through the lacquer below the bridge, and a touched-up wear spot just below that. The rest of the finish shows only very light wear and some slight checking. There is a strap button added to the heel but no other alterations. A good sounding example of a '70's D-18. Excellent - Condition.
