Item #3624
C. F. Martin D-18 Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1956), made in Nazareth, PA, natural lacquer finish, mahogany back, sides and neck; spruce top, brazilian rosewood fingerboard and bridge, original black hard shell case.
Overall length is 41 in. (104.1 cm.), 15 3/4 in. (40 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 15/16 in. (12.5 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 25 1/2 in. (648 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.).
Overall very nice; less top wear than often seen on Martins of this age, one spot of buckle wear to back. Bridge is correct style replacement and nut is newer, otherwise a very original guitar. A very good-playing and sounding 50's D-18, with a fine older HSC. Excellent Condition.
