C. F. Martin D-18 Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1942), made in Nazareth, PA, natural lacquer finish, mahogany back, sides and neck; spruce top, ebony fingerboard and bridge, brown hard shell case.
Overall length is 40 3/4 in. (103.5 cm.), 15 3/4 in. (40 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 7/8 in. (12.4 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 25 1/2 in. (648 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.).
Very nice overall; bridge cut down and refretted some time ago. Original riveted Kluson tuners re-installed with extra Schaller screw holes still visible. Some heavy capo wear on beck of neck, but finish overall is surprisingly intact. The body is remarkably crack free. A great-sounding scallop-braced D-18. Excellent Condition.
