C. F. Martin D-12-20 Model 12 String Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1967), made in Nazareth, PA, serial # 220147, natural lacquer finish, Spruce Top, Mahogany neck, back and sides, Rosewood fingerboard, black hard shell case.
Overall length is 40 3/16 in. (102.1 cm.), 15 5/8 in. (39.7 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 11/16 in. (11.9 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 25 in. (635 mm.). Width of nut is 1 15/16 in. (49 mm.). A nicely original guitar; there is some pickwear to the top through the finish in several different areas, mostly in front of and just behind the pickguard. The rest of the guitar has only light wear overall. No apparent alterations except the bridge top has been sloped forward slightly and the pin holes deepened. This is a very nice playing 12-string guitar with a big powerful chime, one of the best sounding examples of this model we have had. Overall Excellent - Condition.
