C. F. Martin 000-18 Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1976), made in Nazareth, PA, serial # 374358, natural finish, mahogany back, sides and neck; spruce top, rosewood fingerboard, molded black plastic hard shell case.

Overall length is 39 3/4 in. (101 cm.), 15 in. (38.1 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 1/8 in. (10.5 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.). This guitar is super clean overall, with almost no wear but some interesting customization. The headstock has ben re-cut to a slotted pattern more typical of 12-fret Martins, the neck re-set and overfinished. The tuners are very high-grade modern engraved strips. Several of the smaller braces have been slimmed slightly. This guitar has an exceptionally fine sound for a Martin from this era, and makes an excellent finger or flatpicking instrument. It also looks unique, as a slotted head is almost never a feature of a 14-fret guitar. A neat player ready to go, including a good modern molded HSC. Excellent + Condition.
