C. F. Martin 000-18 Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1971), made in Nazareth, PA, serial # 276606, natural lacquer finish, mahogany back, sides and neck, spruce top, molded plastic hard shell case.

Overall length is 39 7/8 in. (101.3 cm.), 15 3/16 in. (38.6 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 1/8 in. (10.5 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.).

Overall a nice, clean guitar; some light wear and pick scratches to the face and scuffing to the back. There appear to have been several sets of tuners on and off over the years; it is currently set up with an older set of Grover Rotomatics that work fine with a bit of scarring on the face of the headstock.

The pickguard has been replaced with a nice tortoise celluloid-style piece (the black acetate original is in the case, curled up like a potato chip!). The nut is newer, and the guitar has had a neckset. There is some visible wear to the frets and fingerboard in the first position, but the guitar plays very well. Overall a fine gigging example of a mahogany 000, with a nice woody midrange tone. Excellent Condition.
