Item #7021
C. F. Martin 000-18 Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1967), made in Nazareth, PA, serial # 221825, natural lacquer finish, mahogany back and sides, spruce top; mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, molded plastic hard shell case.
Overall length is 39 3/4 in. (101 cm.), 15 1/4 in. (38.7 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 1/8 in. (10.5 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.). A nice clean original guitar overall, with just some light checking and play wear-mostly on the soundhole rim and just below the pickguard. The bridge appears to have been lowered slightly and the saddle is new; otherwise no repairs visible. There is a strap button added on the heel. A lovely example, in far better shape than many-this is one of those relatively rare Martins that has existed nearly 50 years without a crack! An excellent player nicely mellowed in. Excellent Condition.
