Item #7712
C. F. Martin 000-18 Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1965), made in Nazareth, PA, serial # 201675, natural lacquer finish, mahogany back, sides and neck, spruce top, brazillian rosewood fingerboard and bridge, black tolex hard shell case.
This is a great sounding 000-18 from the height of the "guitar boom" era. The body has old-style tortoise celluloid binding and pickguard, one of the last with those features. Short-saddle rosewood bridge, Grover Sta-Tite tuners with hexagonal bushings. Typical '60s rounded peghead, "CF Martin" decal slightly darker than usual.
Overall length is 39 3/4 in. (101 cm.), 15 in. (38.1 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 1/16 in. (10.3 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.).
This guitar shows some wear overall and small repairs but is an excellent playing and sounding instrument. Very Good + Condition.
