Item #5065
C. F. Martin 000-18 Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1956), made in Nazareth, PA, natural lacquer finish, mahogany body and neck, spruce top, rosewood fingerboard, black tolex hard shell case.
Overall length is 40 in. (101.6 cm.), 15 1/4 in. (38.7 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 1/16 in. (10.3 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.). Very well-worn and played with dings, scratches and heavy finish checking overall; several repaired side cracks and a patch (likely an old jack hole) on the treble side. Nice original rosewood bridge with two neatly patched holes (remnants of Gibson-style screws-under-pearl-dots, most likely). Strong, mellow sound from this well loved old Martin guitar! Very Good + Condition.
