Item #5204
C. F. Martin 00-18 Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1966), made in Nazareth, PA, natural lacquer finish, mahogany back and sides, spruce top; mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, black hard shell case.
Overall length is 39 1/4 in. (99.7 cm.), 14 1/2 in. (36.8 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 1/16 in. (10.3 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.). This guitar has had a number of repairs over the years and some general wear but a remains a solid player. There is an old repaired split in the heel, and several long sealed top cracks. No side or back cracks and the neck is fairly clean with good frets. The bridge has been cut down and there is an older solid but sloppily executed neck set. Endpin area was routed for a jack but now set up without one. Despite all these issues, this is a very good playing smaller Martin with a nice dry woody sound. Very Good + Condition.
