C. F. Martin 00-18 Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1955), made in Nazareth, PA, natural lacquer finish, mahogany back, sides and neck, spruce top, rosewood fingerboard, black hard shell case.

Overall length is 39 1/2 in. (100.3 cm.), 14 3/8 in. (36.5 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 1/8 in. (10.5 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.). A very nice playing and sounding almost 60-year-old 00, and a very original guitar with no alterations or major repair. There is some overall wear to the finish, mostly scrapes and dings to the top and back. There is one old repaired grain crack to the lower side just below the endpin, but amazingly no top cracks. Original uncut bridge, original Waverly tuners; the guitar has quite a nice action, the frets have been crowned and are in very good playing order. The top finish is darker than most period Martins, and there is a lot of cross-figure in the spruce making for a "stormy' look to the top! This would make an excellent stage and recording guitar, with enough wear to look broken in but nothing actually broken! Overall Very Good + Condition.
