Item #5620
C. F. Martin 00-18 Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1953), made in Nazareth, PA, natural lacquer finish, mahogany back, sides and neck; spruce top, rosewood fingerboard, brown hard shell case.
Overall length is 39 1/2 in. (100.3 cm.), 14 1/2 in. (36.8 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 1/8 in. (10.5 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.). This is a nice player with a lot of old wear, mostly on the top below the strings and in front of the bridge. There has been some touch-up and polishing out both to areas of the top and a to couple of long scrapes on the back, but no major overspray. Recent neck set with plenty of saddle, a well-worn but good sounding old 00 with plenty of character! Generally Very Good Condition.
