C. F. Martin 0-17 Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1939), made in Nazareth, PA, serial # 73547, natural mahogany finish, mahogany body and neck, rosewood fingerboard, molded plastic hard shell case.

Overall length is 38 3/4 in. (98.4 cm.), 15 5/8 in. (39.7 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 1/4 in. (10.8 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.). This is a very nice playing pre-war mahogany Martin; the body was refinished (likely long ago) in a very thin varnish-as refins go, this one is not as professiional looking as some, but fortunately does not impede the sound at all. There is some general wear, a small top seam repair, no other major work. Neck finish and frets are original, tuners are modern replacements. A fine sounding guitar, this would make an excellent stage instrument and is a bargain in a player's pre-war Martin flat top. Overall Very Good + Condition.
