Item #3639

C. F. Martin 0-17 Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1938), made in Nazareth, PA, natural lacquer finish, mahogany body and neck, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard.

Wow, what a sound! We're continually knocked out by the sonic power and glory of vintage Martins, even the plainest examples...but this little mahogany charmer is something else! Perfect for fingerpicking, but a great little flatpicked guitar as well. Typical late-30's appointments. Includes a lovely original soft case.

Overall length is 38 1/2 in. (0 cm.), 13 1/2 in. (0 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 1/4 in. (0 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 24 7/8 in. (0 mm.).

All original with a fresh neck set; the bridge has never been cut down and retains even the original pins! Average light play wear; a real find in an affordable pre-war Martin. Excellent Condition.
