C. F. Martin 0-17 Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1935), made in Nazareth, PA, serial # 59469, natural mahogany finish, mahogany body and neck, rosewood fingerboard, black hard shell case.
Overall length is 38 1/2 in. (97.8 cm.), 13 5/8 in. (34.6 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 1/4 in. (10.8 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 3/4 in. (44 mm.). A beautifully original guitar; no major repairs or alterations. There are dings and chips in the finish overall, most notable a large scrape on the top under the bridge that has been filled and polished out and some scratches to the back and sides. Amazingly there no cracks anywhere, which is pretty unusual for an 0-17 of this age. Excellent sound, uncut original bridge; conservative recent neck set--a very fine early 14-fret mahogany Martin, ready for the next 80 years. Overall Excellent - Condition.
