Bruno The Vernon Model Mandolin Banjo, c. 1920, made in New York City, natural varnish finish, maple rim and neck, ebonized fingerboard.
Overall length is 22 in. (55.9 cm.), 7 1/8 in. (18.1 cm.) diameter head, and 2 1/4 in. (5.7 cm.) deep. Scale length is 13 1/4 in. (337 mm.). Width of nut is 1 3/16 in. (30 mm.). Somewhat well-worn overall but appears all original except for the bridge; the tailpiece cover is missing. One small repair to the dowel where the endbolt screws in, solid but visible. Plays well, with a very penetrating tone! Very Good + Condition.
