Item #4780
Baldwin - Burns Jazz Bass Model Solid Body Electric Bass Guitar (1966), made in London, red/black sunburst finish, obeche body, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, black hard shell case.
Overall length is 45 9/16 in. (115.7 cm.), 14 in. (35.6 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 3/4 in. (4.4 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 31 1/2 in. (800 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5/8 in. (41 mm.). Fairly well-used but a good player. Quite a bit of finish checking, and the finished is chipped badly at the tip of the headstock. All original except tuners (slightly later 1960's Van Ghents with metal buttons) and the bottom strap pin. Missing the bridge cover and mute bar (as nearly all are!). A couple of extra inexplicable screw holes in the pickguard, and two extra strap button holes in the back. Falrly light, surprizingly handy and a good player. Includes a cheap but servicable 60's HSC. Very Good + Condition.
