Baldwin - Burns Bison Model Solid Body Electric Guitar (1966), made in London, England, black polyester finish, hardwood body, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, gig bag case.

Overall length is 38 3/4 in. (98.4 cm.), 13 3/4 in. (34.9 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 5/8 in. (4.1 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 24 1/2 in. (622 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.). A good playing and sounding Bison; original finish with some overall wear (a lot of small dings-into but not through the polyester) and noticeable buckle wear on the back. Does not have the heavy checking and flaking often seen on Baldwin-era Burns instruments. There are two inexplicable screw holes on the heel area on the back of the neck. The guitar is substantially original with some parts issues; the plastic Bison logo plate on the headstock is missing, as is the vibrato arm- the Rezo-Tube unit is otherwise intact. The bridge saddles are replaced, as is one of the selector switch tips. Overall not collector clean, but a playable and substantially intact example this rare guitar. Includes a modern gig bag. Generally Very Good Condition.
