Item #4477

Ampeg B-15N Model Tube Bass Amplifier (1966), made in Linden NJ, blue checked Tolex finish.

A typical 1960's B-15N Portaflex, covered in Ampeg's trademark blue check tolex with the classic deep and round sound these are renowned for. Along with its slightly smaller brother, the B-12, the B-15 is well known as the greatest recording bass amplifierever designed. Perfect for any studio situation and a fine gigging amp in lower-volume situations. The favorite of countless 1960's bass players including the dean of Motown bottom, James Jamerson.

Height is 32 in. (81.3 cm.), 21 in. (53.3 cm.) width, and 14 in. (35.6 cm.) deep. A solid amp with some fading and staining to the tolex, with one repaired but somewhat ugly rip on the front edge above the logo. Appears nicely original and in very good working order. Overall Very Good + Condition.
