7 Course Renaissance Lute, c. 1960, made in Germany, dark mahogany finish, curly maple, spruce, rosewood, and mahogany, brown hard shell case.
The back is thirteen staves of dark mahogany varnished curly maple. The spruce top is bound in rosewood and set with a carved rosette. The neck is faced in rosewood with eight tie on frets and six glued on rosewood frets going onto the top.
The back of the neck is veneered in plain maple and separated with mahogany strips. The bridge is of rosewood and the pegbox is fitted with 13 rosewood pegs. There is an "AM" monogram below the 10th fret.
Overall length is 31 in. (78.7 cm.), 13 3/8 in. (34 cm.) width. Scale length is 25 1/4 in. (641 mm.). Excellent Condition.
