Harmony Sovereign Model H-1260 Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar, made in Chicago, serial # 3071H1260, natural lacquer finish, mahogany back and sides, spruce top; mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard.
Overall length is 41 in. (104.1 cm.), 16 1/4 in. (41.3 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 3/8 in. (11.1 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 25 in. (635 mm.). Width of nut is 1 13/16 in. (46 mm.). A nice old Sovereign-with a new neckset and fret job this is an exceptionally fine playing example of this great-sounding but often clunky-playing instrument. Some wear overall, most visibly pickwear into the top in the usual spots and what looks like the classic cigarette burn spot on the headstock. All original except an added strap button at the heel and the original pickguard is long gone; it looks like almost from the beginning as there is very little evidence it was ever there. A very nice Harmony flat-top, one of the company's best offerings-big sounding and ready to gig. Overall Very Good + Condition.
