Eko Model 995 Violin body Model Electric Bass Guitar, c. 1965, made in Italy, shaded orange laquer finish, laminated maple body and neck, spruce top, black tolex soft shell case.
One of the oddball classics of the 1960's and an American garage band favorite (although of course made in Italy!). As used by the Standells, Music Machine, Grass Roots, and many others.
Overall length is 44 1/2 in. (113 cm.), 13 in. (33 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 2 1/8 in. (5.4 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 30 in. (762 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5/8 in. (41 mm.).
All original (even down to the flatwound strings) with only some finish checking and very little wear. Excellent + Condition.
