Item #6249
Eko Cobra Model 600/1 Model Solid Body Electric Guitar (1965), made in Recanati, Italy, sunburst polyester finish, mahogany body, laminated maple neck with rosewood fingerboard.
Overall length is 39 1/2 in. (100.3 cm.), 13 in. (33 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 1/2 in. (3.8 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 24 1/2 in. (622 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.). Quite clean overall with some typical Euro-Poly finish checking. There is some light play wear, the guitar remains all original except for similar but not exactly correct style knobs. With a dark sunburst mutant-Stratocaster body but only a single pickup this is not the flashiest or most versatile of the Italian imports of the '60's but a good player and a higher grade guitar than many similar imported beat-era wonders. Excellent - Condition.
