It is of fairly simple but very solid construction with a heavy openback rim and tone ring, substantial V-profile neck with a bound ebony fingerboard and the patented Weymann adjustable neck brace. The finish is an unusual greenish wash over the flame maple that is very attractive; the overall effect is subtle but distinctive. A very fine and cool banjo-guitar creeping up on 90 years old.

Overall length is 35 1/2 in. (90.2 cm.), 11 1/8 in. (28.3 cm.) diameter head, and 2 1/2 in. (6.4 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 25 in. (635 mm.). Width of nut is 1 13/16 in. (46 mm.). This banjo has some light wear overall but really an extremely well preserved instrument for its age, and a fine player as well. All original finish and hardware, the only real flaw is the Weymann decal on the back of the headstock has partially chipped off. Currently fitted out with an older calfskin head and and a recent handmade compensated bridge, very good sound, an excellent high-quality banjo guitar complete with a nice original HSC. Excellent - Condition.
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0672/8702/3756/files/01_39bc1945-265f-433b-93c8-57da08884e17.jpg?v=1774334060
