The \"Tonemaster\" was sold with a companion lap steel as a good student grade set for the teaching studios of the day that the Oahu Publishing Company of Cleveland supplied. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIt has a single 10\" field-coil speaker date coded to the 6th week of 1948, two channels each with a volume control and a single tone, all with brown chicken head knobs. The amp has had a grounded 3-prong plug added and some typical cap work but remains substantially original. The cabinet has some general wear but nothing too heavy; the back panel screws are replaced. This is a cool recording or low-volume performance amp which a wicked overdrive when cranked.
