By the 1960's their designs were sold under the Multi-Kord brand, and while not accepted at high-grade professional steels, were popular at the local level. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eOne of the advantages of the Multi-Kord pitch-changing system is relative ease of setting up each guitar individually to the player's preferred tuning. This eight-string carries one of the wilder finishes we have seen recently: blue and white speckled paint on the body with a back-painted Lucite fingerboard in white with multicolored geometric designs. The tuners and pitch changers are covered with molded plastic covers in rich royal blue that look like Tupperware. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eA good playing and sounding steel on a budget, and if you have a circus or clown band (or ever wanted one!) this is the finish you would have to go for!\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003eOverall length is 36 in.
