(57 mm.). \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis striking-looking steel -- a visual symphony in green pearloid and blue and white plastic -- is a product of Magnatone, issued under the Maestro brand name. It has the typical period Magnatone pickup mounted in the body, a fairly bright yet sweet-sounding unit. It is in good cosmetic condition with some replaced parts; the tuners are Wilkinson-branded Kluson Deluxe re-issues. The pickup is original, but the wiring rig is replaced; the original pots dated to 1950 are included but are non-functional. This is a nifty little steel, a fairly rare variation n the typical '50s Magnatone template and a good-sounding guitar still. It is still in the original oblong case, with a tag from a music store in Fostoria, Ohio on the handle.
