This guitar is a good mid-grade archtop typical of that company's work, with distinctive Kay features like the checkerboard edge binding and \"pick\" shaped fingerboard inlay. The sound is quite good for a laminated archtop, and the neck is slimmer and more comfortable than many similar Kay guitars.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003eOverall length is 41 1\/2 in. (105.4 cm.), 15 5\/8 in. (39.7 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 3 3\/4 in. (9.5 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 25 1\/2 in. (648 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11\/16 in. (43 mm.). Very nice original condition-the neck has been reset and refretted so this is a far better player than most similar Kay guitars. Appears all original except the pickguard is missing. A good playing and sounding archtop mid-line archtop.
