(65.4 cm.), 10 1/4 in. (26 cm.) wide, and 2 3/16 in. (5.6 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 14 in. (356 mm.). Width of nut is 1 1/4 in. (32 mm.).

Overall a nice and good-playing example of this 1930s Gibson-made instrument, the better grade of two mandolins offered in their budget Kalamazoo line. It shows some general finish wear but no sinkage to the X-braced "Arco arched" top, which is hard to find on these! The lacquer shows checking, scuffs, dings, and dents, but no major wear.

Everything is original except the pickguard, which is period and looks like it came from an old Strad-O-Lin mandolin and has a small chip off the front tip. The frets have some light wear but the neck is very true and playability is not affected, and this is a good-sounding authentic pre-war mandolin that remains a good bargain, just like it was 80+ years ago. Very Good + Condition.
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0672/8702/3756/files/01_d0da0fba-07a3-4e63-b2b4-8b1bf8294dd6.jpg?v=1774335361
