These larger Kalamazoos have a bright but well-balanced sound with a bluesy edge. The KG-14 was the best of the Kalamazoo flat tops; the body is the same as Gibson's L-00 but the top is ladder braced and the neck has no truss rod. These less expensive guitars were a major factor in Gibson's survival during the worst years of the Great Depression, but were phased out shortly after the US entered WWII.

Overall length is 40 1/2 in. (102.9 cm.), 14 3/4 in. (37.5 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 1/2 in. (11.4 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 3/4 in. (44 mm.).

Very clean overall; some typical bellying to top, but recent neckset, so plays very well. One repaired back crack, perfect repro bridge -- otherwise, all original. Excellent Condition.
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0672/8702/3756/files/01_4b01994e-11e0-42c4-b940-bf3396255c07.jpg?v=1774332152
