The Verithin is one of Hofner's more distinctive models from the mid 1960's and a fairly deluxe guitar. The fully hollow body is multiple bound with three \"staple\" pickups, on\/off switches for each, a master volume, and three tone controls. The rosewood fingerboard is single bound with \"bar\" multiple celluloid strip inlay. The headstock is single bound with a block pearl \"Hofner\" logo and a floral design. This is a very light and comfortable guitar with a wide range of tone options.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003eOverall length is 41 1\/2 in. (105.4 cm.), 16 5\/16 in. (41.4 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 1\/8 in. (2.8 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 25 1\/4 in. (641 mm.). \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eOverall very nice condition; some general checking and light dings to finish. Pickguard removed, bridge is a 1970's style Gretsch unit, and tailpiece is a simple trapeze replacement. The original vibrato unit is included but missing the arm. All other fittings and hardware are original.
