(58.4 cm.), 8 in. (20.3 cm.) diameter head, and 3 in. (7.6 cm.) deep. Scale length is 13 7/8 in. (352 mm.). Width of nut is 1 1/4 in. (32 mm.).

This is a nice and mostly original example of a medium/high-grade flange-and-resonator banjo-uke from the late 1920's, made by Harmony for Sears, Roebuck & Co. The main visual feature is the shining pearloid fingerboard and headstock, which add some distinct flash to the instrument. The chrome diamond-hole flange doesn't hurt either. The tuners and tailpiece are later but aesthetically appropriate, the other hardware appears original.

There is some fairly light wear overall, mostly scuffing and scratching to the resonator back. There is no notable damage or repair except the small piece of the pearloid fingerboard closest to the rim has been patched in. This is a really nice player with a comfortable action, sweeter sounding than some but still quite loud if needed, a very well-made original banjo-uke with a sharp look. It resides in a period HSC that is an inexact fit but may well have been with it since new. Excellent - Condition.
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0672/8702/3756/files/01_0d6b831f-68e9-498d-a068-69a63ca2df3f.jpg?v=1774337858
