It is a full-size ladder-braced Grand Concert guitar with painted-on trim and position markers , a screwed-on pickguard and tailpiece/floating bridge setup. This wartime model actually has a wooden tailpiece instead of the more common metal. While not an expensive guitar -Listed at $8.00 in 1940 -this instrument has a great bluesy feel and a cool spanky sound.

Overall length is 39 1/2 in. (100.3 cm.), 15 in. (38.1 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 3 13/16 in. (9.7 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 25 in. (635 mm.). Width of nut is 1 3/4 in. (44 mm.). This guitar is very well-worn but has a great funky vibe. The neck is recently reset, and playability is excellent for this type of instrument. There is a LOT of finish wear overall, especially to the painted edge binding. There are two old repaired back cracks, one old crack in the top off the front pickguard screw and a small crack in the tailpiece over the G string. All original except modern repro tuners. The overall vibe is very funky but cool, this is a blues guitar par excellance! Very Good + Condition.
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0672/8702/3756/files/01_7f707f5b-fe74-4ffc-8b05-d90b828ac957.jpg?v=1774334783
