harmony-concert-ukulele-1930s-7524
Harmony Concert Ukulele (1930's)
Concert Ukulele, made by Harmony (1930's), made in Chicago, natural lacquer finish, mahogany body and neck, rosewood fingerboard, original brown canvas gig bag case.

This depression era Harmony concert-size uke remains in truly exceptional condition, showing very few signs of use. Similar to the company's decorated ukes but plain, this is slightly larger and built of better materials (mahogany and rosewood) than its painted brethren, resulting in a much better sound. It sports Harmony's distinctive headstock "ledge" and a 4-ply Celluloid soundhole ring as the only decoration, but is still a sharp looking and sounding piece!

Overall length is 21 3/4 in. (55.2 cm.), 6 7/8 in. (17.5 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 2 5/16 in. (5.9 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 14 in. (356 mm.). Width of nut is 1 1/2 in. (38 mm.). All original and appears hardly played except for a little wear to the fingerboard. Includes a very nicely preserved period gigbag and a cool old tassel cord on one of the tuning pegs. Much better sounding than might be expected with a nice rounded tone, and a decent player as well! Excellent + Condition.
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0672/8702/3756/files/01_a37028ff-a07b-4e7b-b81f-02a7c6116a33.jpg?v=1774331758
