Not only is it the earliest example of this model we've ever seen, but it has some rather unusual features.

Mostly, though, it's just a fabulous-sounding and playing guitar, which, as even most Gretsch fans will admit, is not always the case with the company's flat tops. This one is loud, extremely well-balanced, and as one might expect has a certain arch-top ambience to the sound.

Overall length is 41 in. (104.1 cm.), 16 1/4 in. (41.3 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 3 1/2 in. (8.9 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 26 in. (660 mm.).

Very nice original condition. Recent neck set and plays excellent with plenty of room on the (adjustable) bridge.

No major cracks or repairs; some light finish chipping and play wear. Screws on the tuner covers don't really look original, but they all match so it's hard to be sure. Otherwise it's an unaltered guitar, with a great original HSC. Excellent Condition.
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0672/8702/3756/files/01_1139bd7d-1b1f-434a-b8e4-5a4d07cfd76a.jpg?v=1774333100
