By the look of the hardware, this was added when the guitar was new-possibly at the factory but more likely by a Gibson dealer-the pickguard cut is not perfectly clean. All parts are period correct including the wiring and tall, numbered knobs; the pickup is mounted a bit farther back than on the typical ETG-150 resulting in a brighter sound, also enhanced by the spruce top. One of the best-sounding full-body electric tenors we have had, with a nice full acoustic sound as well. Perhaps not all original, but a really unique and exceptionally good electric tenor!

Overall length is 39 1/4 in. (99.7 cm.), 16 1/8 in. (41 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 3 3/8 in. (8.6 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 23 in. (584 mm.). Width of nut is 1 3/16 in. (30 mm.). Very clean overall; all original (or period) hardware; an excellent player with a unique sound. Excellent + Condition.
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0672/8702/3756/files/01_fa60facd-cd65-4460-864c-8930310d5f19.jpg?v=1774328340
https://retrofret.com/products/gibson-tg-50-conversion-arch-top-hollow-body-electric-tenor-guitar-1949-5122
