Built around 1930 this still has the look and feel of a 1920's instrument with a hand-rubbed Cremona brown sunburst and 12-fret neck. Fancy TB-3 style headstock inlay with pearl Gibson logo, bound fingerboard and Grover banjo tuners adorn the neck. The body is the same size as the first larger-pattern L-1's from this time period, so this is a bigger guitar than the previous year's round-bottomed style. Super light, responsive and sweet sounding; one of our favorite Gibson tenors ever!

Overall length is 37 in. (94 cm.), 14 3/4 in. (37.5 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 1/4 in. (10.8 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 22 3/4 in. (578 mm.). Width of nut is 1 3/16 in. (30 mm.). Very clean original finish, extremely attractive with very little wear. Several repaired top cracks and a small patched area behind the bridge, evidence of an added elevated pickguard (since removed). A very fine and rather rare Gibson tenor guitar. Overall Excellent Condition.
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0672/8702/3756/files/01_f6adb600-a652-4d3a-b891-53b957619c28.jpg?v=1774333278
