Bound top with VERY small sunburst area and dark firestripe pattern celluloid pickguard; unbound back. Rosewood fingerboard with simple pearl dot inlay and original ebony nut. The neck has a deep but not too sharp \"V\" profile and narrow heel. The original tuners are Depression-era special stamped strips with black celluloid buttons. The headstock is adorned with a white, screened \"Gibson\" logo. This is a very lightly built and extremely responsive guitar, a favorite for many playing styles and a 1930's gem.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003eOverall length is 40 1\/4 in. (102.2 cm.), 14 3\/4 in. (37.5 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 1\/4 in. (10.8 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 24 3\/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 3\/4 in. (44 mm.). \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eVery clean overall. Finish exceptionally well-preserved; one repaired top crack on bass side of fingerboard, one small repaired crack between end of fingerboard and soundhole, and reglued enter top seam. Otherwise very solid and original guitar; recent neckset and fretwork make this a very fine player.
