(104.5 cm.), 15 15\/16 in. (40.5 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 15\/16 in. (12.5 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 25 1\/4 in. (641 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11\/16 in. (43 mm.). This guitar has some wear overall but a good player with a better sound than many of these '70's Gibson flattops. It has had a neckset with some fairly heavy touch-up around the heel, and there is a repaired laminate seam on the bass side of the heel that is plainly visible. There is a long sealed back crack just off the center seam and several top grain cracks. There are general dings and scrapes and a decent amount of finish worn off the back of the neck; the frets have some wear but still play well. Clearly marked \"SECOND\" on the back of the head but whatever flaw led to this is no longer apparent. This is a period when Gibson didn't bother to mask off the soundhole rings before spraying the sunburst on the top, and put a factory fill in the bridge to hold the pins. Still, it has a Gibson-y warm midrange sound and is comfortable to play. Overall a bit worn in but very solid; a good gigging example of a square-shoulder J-45. Very Good + Condition.","brand":"Gibson","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46853000003724,"sku":"6836","price":1100.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0672\/8702\/3756\/files\/01_e9481354-c418-43fd-b6f4-6f2dee56402b.jpg?v=1774330166","url":"https:\/\/retrofret.com\/products\/gibson-j-45-deluxe-flat-top-acoustic-guitar-1979-6836","provider":"RetroFret","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
