The pickup covers and tailpiece are chrome; the bridge, polepieces, and pickguard bracket are nickel. The neck is wide and fairly flat, not the very skinny narrow neck that appears beginning the next year. The body is the deep brown-edge sunburst and the orange label is the 1964-8 \"union made\" variant. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis is a fabulous-sounding and playing 335 that has had very little use; our guess is that someone let the case fall over at one point causing a stress crack to the head, as otherwise the guitar has minimal wear anywhere. If you need a fantastic 335 to play, this would be a good choice!\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003eOverall length is 41 3\/4 in. (106 cm.), 16 1\/8 in. (41 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 3\/4 in. (4.4 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 24 3\/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11\/16 in. (43 mm.). \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eExtremely clean and original overall; this guitar does have a well-repaired grain crack to the headstock and a recent pro refret. A few tiny chips and dings to the headstock area, otherwise the guitar is exceptionally clean. All original parts and finish, no overspray over the repair, just a clean buff-out. Includes original case in very fine condition and hang tag.
