By the end of the 1960s, this instrument underwent a major design modification; the neck joint was shifted from the 16th to the 19th fret, making it feel and play more like the semi-solid ES-335. These "long neck" 330s are fairly rare and are preferred by some players over the more common earlier versions...one of the few cases of a late '60s Gibson having extra collector's appeal!

Overall length is 42 in. (106.7 cm.), 16 in. (40.6 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 3/4 in. (4.4 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5/8 in. (41 mm.).

A very clean and original guitar; tuners appear to have been changed out and restored. One fairly substantial ding to the back of the neck and some headstock wear. A nice example.
