This natural blonde beauty is from the short-lived era when Gibson used a laminated maple neck on these instruments instead of the traditional mahogany, resulting in a slightly brighter sound. Otherwise this is a classic design little changed from the late 1950's. A great gigging jazz guitar and superb all-around electric.

Overall length is 41 1/2 in. (105.4 cm.), 16 in. (40.6 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 3 1/4 in. (8.2 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.). This is a very clean guitar with only the lightest play wear. The tuners were replaced with Gibson crank-tip tuners probably in the 1980's, and a strap button added to the heel. Otherwise a lovely original guitar and a very nice player.
