The \"re-issue\" A-5L is based on a single known Style A-5 prototype mandolin made during Lloyd Loar's tenure at Gibson. It features a full 14\" scale length with suspended fingerboard extension, bound peghead with script logo and \"Flowerpot\" peghead inlay in mother-of-pearl.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003eOverall length is 26 3\/4 in. (67.9 cm.), 9 3\/4 in. (24.8 cm.) wide, and 1 3\/4 in. (4.4 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 14 in. (356 mm.). Width of nut is 1 3\/16 in. (30 mm.). Very nice overall; some light play wear. Pickguard removed, otherwise original.
