Interesting transitional features include the earliest version of Gibson's adjustable bridge with an unusual aluminum saddle and the pickguard clamp which combines the newer metal bracket shaft with the old-style clamp. This is also a great sounding and playing mandolin, with a woody tone and plenty of bark.

Overall length is 25 5/8 in. (65.1 cm.), 10 1/4 in. (26 cm.) wide, and 1 3/4 in. (4.4 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 14 in. (356 mm.). Width of nut is 1 1/4 in. (32 mm.).

Incredibly well-preserved; one of the cleanest older Gibson mandolins we have ever seen. A little wear to the neck and heel area; otherwise looks almost new. Excellent + Condition.
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0672/8702/3756/files/01_1ffc9663-d453-4787-b292-a354a977fb90.jpg?v=1774332207
