The one piece maple neck has a profile just a bit flatter than the original '69 style but quite comfortable, otherwise this is a very close reproduction. The paisley finish is very accurately re-created but does not show the heavy checking and peeling common to the originals today. This one dates to the second \"Made in Japan' marked era and is about 6 years old now. The tuners have been upgraded to Fender-branded staggered-post locking machines, with the string tree updated as well; all else is unchanged. The TL 69-75 in Pink Paisley has been one of Fender Japan's best efforts since the 1980's, becoming recognized as a classic in its own right now. This is a fairly light and handy Telecaster, and its timely\/timeless paisley livery remains unmistakable, as always James Burton and Elvis approved.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003eOverall length is 38 3\/4 in. (98.4 cm.), 12 1\/2 in. (31.8 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 3\/4 in. (4.4 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 25 1\/2 in. (648 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5\/8 in. (41 mm.). \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis guitar shows some minor signs of use, most notably one impact mark to the beck edge near the jack cup. Other than this there is hardly any wear to the finish, and virtually no corrosion to the hardware. The frets have some minimal wear and the guitar plays great with the classic Tele twang.
