fender-princeton-5f2-a-tube-amplifier-1957-6727
Fender Princeton 5F2-A Tube Amplifier (1957)
Fender Princeton 5F2-A Model Tube Amplifier (1957), made in Fullerton, California, tweed fabric covering finish.

Height is 17 in. (43.2 cm.), 18 in. (45.7 cm.) width, and 9 in. (22.9 cm.) in depth at deepest point. A very nice example of a late-50's big-box Princeton, which by this point had grown into a much larger unit than its earlier ancestors. This amp still features a single 8" speaker and three-tube layout (5Y3,6V6,12AX7) in the more spacious cabinet making for a sweetly overdriven airier tone that can get very raucous when pushed. The tweed shows some average wear and there are a couple of stain/scrape marks on the top panel but overall the covering is not heavily worn. This is a nicely original amp, with the untouched transformers, NOS tubes, original (reconed) speaker, and the circuit untouched aside from a 3 prong power cord (original included). Sounds typically great, as we always expect with these! Excellent - Condition.
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0672/8702/3756/files/01_e9bcf038-9db9-4c88-b9b2-f21d56cceeda.jpg?v=1774332575
